1 So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
2 And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
6 And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
7 Of the Gershonites were, Laadan, and Shimei.
8 The sons of Laadan; the chief was Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
12 The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
14 Now concerning Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
15 The sons of Moses were, Gershom, and Eliezer.
16 Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel was the chief.
18 Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.

David's 1 Chronicles Chapter 23 comment about verse 25 on 9/18/2021, 9:17am...
The apostle Paul basically gave us the same words in Ephesians 4:1-16. As we await the coming of the Lord, let us gird up our loins and become deeply committed to the Word of God and prayer. Starting with ourselves, let us endeavor to build accountability amongst the fellowship. Begin today by renewing our hearts, and spiritual mind, which delights greatly in the Words of the Lord. Help us all to find deep satisfaction and refreshing joy in His service at His feet.
Our nation needs it for the political and social climate before us. September 18, 2021
Annysia's 1 Chronicles Chapter 23 comment about verse 25 on 4/01/2020, 12:41am...
This chapter really showed me that we all have our roles to play in society. In this chapter they mentioned officers and judges, gatekeepers, and others. rnAll these roles have something to do with the improvement of society and their relationship with God.rnOur roles today don't seem to be as clear cut as that, but do people still use their roles to improve their religious/spiritual lives? And how? It seems to only be a case of getting as much material possessions as possible these days.
