There are lots of discussion on what is meant for us and what isn't. There is no other bible that changes these (1 Corinthians 11:14-15) the spirit and word agree.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

In Hebrew had means prime, i.e Prime Minister is above minister. Rosh Memchala - means HEad of the Government - Prime Minister. It also means beginning. Like Rosh Hashana is the beginning of Year.

Trinitarian Alert:Well,Paul wrote this years after Jesus 's death so lets compare scripture rather than leaning on our own reasoning. This passage says that God is the head of his son, Christ. Ok, lets go right to the source himself,Jesus, and see what he has to say. At John 14:28 Jesus conferms that his Father is greater than he is.If Jesus were God, how do trinitarians explain this?

Ben Weaver's comment on 2010-11-28 16:09:36:

The word "head / Gr. kephale" is rather difficult to interpret. One description in The Gr. Lexicon is "top" as the first in a series. The same Gr. word, "kephale" is also translated to "sum" of money as the source for obtaining something,i.e. "With a great sum, have I obtained this freedom". Today, we might say "The head of a river" referring to its source or beginning. In creation, Adam was the source of Eve's creation, hense, "The head of the woman is the man". This interpretation is supported by vs. 8-9. Notice! not every woman, just Eve. Why, "The head of EVERY man is Christ? This word for "man" is elswhere used as both male and female. Christ is the only source of connection to the Father for every person, male and female, hense "the head of every man. The next six vs. refer to Adam's race, then, from v. 10 on to those "In the Lord" who is now the head / source to the Creator. The first human race failed. Willing to be corrected.
