Paul also talked about women not adorning themselves in 1Timothy 2:9 as Peter said but the problem with Christians of todays is the inability to maintain God 's word just as it is said but read their own meanings into it to suit their lustful desires. Putting on those things assumes pride and make us look like idols before God. We are the temple of God and what relationship has the temple of God with idols. Read Genesis 35:1-5 and Exodus 33:1-5. Do your research and you will find out that the adornment of gold and silver is associated with idol worship everywhere in the world. God created all those things but they have defiled by the ignorance of men. Just obey and stay holy because without holiness no one shall see God Heb 12:14. Amen

I have more questions than comments. I need help in understanding, does God strictly forbid wearing gold or is it you can wear it you just can 't adorn it, please help me to understand.
