Brother John. In the normal reading of that Scripture, Paul is stating that since Jesus' death was on behalf of all mankind, then that act of Love is proof that all mankind were spiritually dead in sin and in need of redemption - not one of us has escaped sin's shackles & bondage. Do you have further thoughts on this?
