Elisha was telling Gehazi that he had been caught up in the sins of the general populace who bought vineyards and servants out of greed..Gehazi had been tempted by the "sins of the times " and had behaved opposite to his humble call. Being a servant of the man of God he was supposed to act according to the stipulations of His master who had sworn before the Living God that He will not receive anything from the hands of Naaman.
