The hebrew commentary says the hidden treasure of the sand is white gl*** and perhaps gl*** ****ing. Before there was Venice gl***, there was the Judean gl***, which they spread to the world during their exile. Roman sources reference gl*** discovery to a location in Israel. Hebrew sources mention disappearance of white gl*** from markets after destruction of the 2nd temple. Jews break a gl*** on weddings to commemorate the destruction of the temple.
