PROOF: Look at all the 'spoiled' children today as a result of the world's 'experts' telling to spare the rod. Discipline is not abuse. Abuse is certainly not discipline. Discipline, I believe, is done with love and goodness but abuse is done with hate and evil.

Honor thy Father and Mother in the Lord, for this is right. This commandment gives promise that it will be well with thee on the Earth. Parents in the Lord will not abuse their children. Discipline is sometimes mistaken for abuse, but the bible teaches spare not the rod. Whom the Lord loves He disciplines. So parents are only doing their God given responsibility to discipline their kids, which proves their love for the kids. I thank God for my parents, and I would not have learned to love the Lord with all my heart, and my neighbor as thyself, had my parents not trained me up in the fear, and admonition of the Lord. Parents have the most important job on Earth, and this is why God told us to honor them.

every child being raised with the teachings of the people would like to do this and follows it, believe in it with his whole heart and soul until he realized that he was abused by the very people who should have protected and nurtured him but instead these very people abused him and did to him every whim they got on their minds. Bible should have included in its commandment "Love your children next to God". Parents have responsibilities of bringing up children who appreciates the life given to them by God through their parents. It is hard to appreciate life when you have been abused and certainly hard to even look at your parents face to face if they have abused you. So how can one honor the very same people who abused him.
