The reach of this verse is not limited to Catholic priests only, hence the word PREACHER. A prevalent lie that I hear being preached is eternal hell-fire. If eternal hell-fire included spirits of blood and water then these verses would not be true. Psalms 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. Psalms 145:21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. Luke 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled.......the son of perdition is the anti-Christ, the devil. May the LORD Jesus Christ bless all who yearn for truth and obedience in Him. Amen

Do the catholic priests ignore this verse when they teach the praying of the rosary? Jesus, and any of His Apostles never did preach the praying of the rosary... If this prayer was the cause of what those 3 children who testified that they saw Mary, Then still they should not have taught other than what the Bible has not been teaching as what Apostle Paul said in Galacians 1:8...

I believe that Galatians 1 8 is completely contrary to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, which Paul himself recognized in Romans 12 14. In as much as I cannot say for certain that it was a mistranslation, neither can I say for sure that it depicted the level of maturity of Paul at the time, I will rather choose to live by the gospel. To love my enemies, do good to them that hate me, bless them that curse me and pray for them that despitefully use me and persecute me. There are so many today preaching 'another gospel '. My response to those is to pray for them, that their eyes of understanding be enlightened if they are sincerely wrong. For those whose wrong message is for personal gains, my response is to pray for them to have an encounter with Christ that will deliver them, while my prayer to those following them is for their eyes to be opened to the truth of the gospel, that they may be set free from the bondage of wrong doctrines. Our response should be love at all times. That is the only thing we owe to all men. We contend for the faith by standing by the truth and speaking the truth, even if it is going to cost us our lives. Not to please ANY MAN.

In response to the former statement. Paul did not say something that did not fit the New Testament gospel. He wrote as the Holy Spirit moved him to write. Please see 2Pe 1 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 2Pe 1 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Isn 't it true that the Holy Spirit can cause a man to write that God says a man that preaches another gospel is accursed

Since cursing those who are wrong does not seem to fit the new testament gospel, I have searched the Analytical Greek Lexicon to see if the translators may have missed something. With the definition of "Anathema" the word is presented as a compound word, (ana & thema), and defined;"To submit a statement or report of matters to a person's consideration" as used in Acts 25:14 & Gal.2:2. The Gr. ana is defined as through the midst of; we would say thoroughly. Thema (themelion) is defined as; "to lay a foundation". In 1 Cor. 3:10, Paul uses the same word for,"I have laid the foundation". I feel this would be a more fitting choice of definitions than to curse those who are in the wrong. So a better wording for Gal. 1:8 & 1 Cor. 16:22, would be to; (Thoroughly teach those who err in order to lay a foundation for faith and doctrine). This (more gospel like) concept, is all in the Greek grammer book. Romans 12:14 says "Bless, and curse not".
