Peter was crucified upside down. He was crucified many years later in Rome.

The Bible gives no records of a hole, who dug it, or how. The hole wasn't important

Mishael's comment on 2020-12-04 20:20:40:

Where did they put Jesus while the were preparing the hole for the Cross ???

He was on the ground, nailed to the cross, face pointed at the clouds.

Don't yell at me thank u very much :)

No where. Jesus and the two thiefs were right side up.

Chris's comment on 2020-11-13 18:50:29:

If I'm understanding you correctly, the thieves that hung on their crosses at each side of Jesus, were hung & nailed in the 'proper manner', so to speak. There's no indication that their crucifixion was any different to the others. There is a tradition however, that the Apostle Peter was crucified upside down at his request, so that his crucifixion would not resemble his Lord's. But that is only tradition & not found in Scripture.

In John 21:18, Jesus told Peter, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not". Some have understood Jesus' prophecy of Peter that one day he would be taken as a prisoner & eventually crucified. We can't be certain that is what is meant. Whatever the case, it is of praise to the Lord that all His servants, the apostles, were willing to lay down their lives for Jesus, as Jesus had done for them. That should be cause of much searching of our own hearts in our love & commitment to our wonderful Saviour.

Genesis 1:6 KJV

(6) And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

The "firmament" or "expanse" is a metaphor about the opening of the hearing ear and the "waters" are people (Revelation 17:15).

The hearing of the Word of Truth from Heaven among many people divides them: the believers from the unbelievers.

Even the word for "ear" in Hebrew (ozen) means "broadness, to expand".

Job 36:10 KJV

(10) He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

God opens up our ears to His knowledge that is sent from Heaven via the Spirit. The "firmament" is called "Heaven" for what we hear is from there. Jesus said often: he that has an ear, let him hear

Revelation 3:6 KJV

(6) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

The good news is reported unto us with Holy Spirit is sent down from Heaven

1 Peter 1:12 KJV

(12) Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Jesus healed the deaf man by looking into Heaven as He opened up his ears. The "firmament" or expanse is the opening up of our ears to God's knowledge from Heaven.

Mark 7:33-34 KJV

(33) And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

(34) And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word/Saying of God who said "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." The "waters" above the Heaven believe upon what they hear while those waters under do not believe. The "firmament" is firm and supports the waters above as they believe in what they hear.

I did a search in trying to find a pertinent set of information in Genesis 1-6 but found a link to your site and thought I would try it out. I think you do have some valid points that you do touch on, but I have come to the conclusion that there are 2 teachings that the bible propose (The Inner, And The Outer). In saying that, I have come across many individuals in my time who have for the most part have meant well but have greatly misinterpreted the main concept of what is being conveyed . I have not read all your quotes on Genesis but will do so to get a better handle on what is being said in your article.

Hey david, simply put, the content of the firmament is the genesis account itself, and as you know it has been reviewed to no end nor resolve... The genesis account which is held to be the words of God and the lone origin to the entire dispute, procaims A firmament 'MADE' created a divide or space between now two waters, above and under, the space or divide between the two was just then called 'heaven' with half or so of the waters on the planet now off of it the 'DRY' could appear and furthermore everything else chronologically in the account can occur... The firmament is the visible declaration of the creation account, not the universe... nor is there any recorded documentation to testify of anything 'prior' to this formless and void condition of the planet He called the dry earth. thereby rendering our history nonexistant... If you might take a little time to indeed view firmament-theresolve, you might be surprised what you could see although this is just a brief vision of what this reason of truth will reveal... take care,
