I actually had a similar issue, but when you look at the verse carefully, then it makes sense. The keywords to focus on are "sons" and "daughters." The verse says that these were the SONS Leah bore to Jacob besides his daughter Dinah. This statement does not mention how many sons, but I count 32 sons total (deducting 2 that deceased in Canaan). The next sentence says that these sons and daughters of his were 33 in all, which I think is including Dinah.
Hope this makes sense.

I'm stumped as well Mark, only commentary I can find is Coffman and he says 'it doesn't really matter' but it does! The only thought I have is that the verse states 'daughters' which is plural but I don't understand why the Bible would not make mention of one more name if there were 2 daughters instead of just Dinah. I would really like to know the answer to why the names only add up to 32 (you would deduct 2 from 34 for Er and Onan cause at that time their souls were not with them for God slew them in Canaan)

Something is wrong here. The verse states that all of the souls of his sons and daughters (by Leah) was 33. it is actually 34. it would add up to 33 if you did not count his daughter Dinah, but then why mention her by name and why say "of his sons and his daughters?"
