This is an individual matter. Each person must come to that place where they want to seek the Lord, and won't stop until they find Him. "Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6)When we rise up in the morning our hearts should be on God...when we go to sleep at night, we should meditate in His word... David said to mediate in God's law day and night. Those who stay in the Word of God and keep their minds on Him, God promises to keep that person in "perfect peace whose mind in stayed" on Him. Who will escape the wrath of God? Those washed and covered in the blood of His Son Jesus.

Niyi Amuda's comment on 2013-03-18 03:53:33:

Isaiah 26:9 shows to the Believer how to pattern his life. What do I mean by that? King David wrote that he desired GOD in the night, how many of us do that? Rather what most Believer desire at night these days is a large foam to sleep all night. True Believers like King David understand that the night is quiet and is a good time to seek the LORD, he (David) also sought the Lord early in the morning, how many Believers today still keep a quiet time with the Sweet Holy Spirit? May God help us. Amen.

One thing I learnt in Isaiah 26:9 was that man needs to seek the face of God perpetually, hearing from God, trusting Him above our wealth and materialism.
