This isn 't a difficult text...Those in covenant rights with God...can demand of God their rights...just like a lawyer does with a Judge...When it comes to our constitution!!!God enjoys when we Demand of him concerning our Covenant contract which he gave to us!!!!Ask Jacob!!!Ask Christ Jesus..according to John 15,16...He commands us to command of the FATHER in his Name ...that he might do it !!!!!

We need to go back to see that in the context of this verse they were questioning God concerning why he allowed things and did things. God wants to know why we question his leading and hand moving especially when we rebel and don't obey.
That's why we need to follow His leading and direction as He moves in our lives.

@Baptista,
Some versions end the sentence with a question mark. But the great message of the verse is that God is in control of everything He created, He masters every single aspect and category of life; in the past, present and future.
God bless you.

Isaiah 45:11 Does this verse end with a question mark as some other bible versions suppose?

There is a bit of controversy of that scripture. Some translations see it as a command and some others translation see it question however the bottom line the Almighty who is supreme, does whatever pleases Him. But critical look at the above scripture from the first verse shows God was telling Cyrus that He knew him before he was born and not just that He has chosen him.
