Sadly, No. Her heart was still there in Sodom, in spite of the wickedness of that city. She might have physically turned around, but her heart was already on the way back to be at her home, with her people & her friends. But if you're thinking whether her spirit would still be saved in the day of reckoning, that remains in God's domain of judgement. It would be like the coming time of Great Tribulation, a Day of God's Wrath on disobedient mankind: the chance to escape will not be the passion of most, preferring the desire of the flesh & of life itself, rather than desiring the salvation of God.

It was not the Jews....though they said...His blood be upon us...No man could take His life. As in Job, unless God expressly allowed it...."...save his life", is what he told Satan. Just who do you think is in charge of this world and that which is to come? This commandment received from His Father....that settles the matter. He took on the sins of the whole world...that is why whosoever trusts in Him has eternal life.

Darrel, Jesus is God! In Isaiah 9:6-7 we read of the foretold birth of Christ but are also given his names: For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. AND.... In John 1 we read: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1 :14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... Hebrews we read: God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: ... Hope this helps you see the truth that Jesus is in deed God! :-)

This is one of my favorite verses in the new testament. Why I like it, is because it distingushes God from his Son. So many churches today say that the Christ was and is God, here He clearly states that he is not God and yet of God so that makes Him God-like, as long as he will do the Father's will at any cost, for he has the choice not to if he and His own will wants to. Most churches that believe that He is God say that when he says phrases similar to this, is that He is teaching the people to be where he is, but this verse is not a lesson..nobody can lay down their life and take it again on their own accord, unless you have a commandment from above to do so. only the Son of God, and God himself has that power to my knowledge so I will continue my journey to know God through His Son the Christ 2 separate and yet 1.
