In Jn 12:2, the people in that home were of course, Mary & Martha, the sisters of Lazarus. This account with Lazarus ends in Jn 11:45. In v46, those Jews who saw the resurrected Lazarus then went quickly over to the Pharisees to report what they had seen and then the rest of chap 11 speaks of their plot to kill Jesus. But Jesus went away and then returned to Bethany six days before the Passover, and fellowshipped with Lazarus and his sisters (Jn 12:1 >).
