Jesus has chosen us and ordained us to bring forth fruit, the scripture is talking about winning souls for Christ, preaching the good news and that's what we are here for . We have what it takes already to bring forth fruit Holy Ghost so we cant but open our mouth and preach the gospel that's how we bring forth fruit in the kingdom. Glory to God!

The fact that God has chosen us proves that he has high expectations for us. He expects us to bring forth fruits and we need to please him in doing so.

Evangelism is the commandment from God. Mark 16v15. No wonder, Jesus said in this verse that he has chosen us and ordained us that we should go and produce fruit, that is, we should go and persuade others to believe in God. Not only to produce fruit but our fruits should abide, that is,our fruits should be rooted in Christ and telling others to believe in Christ.

God has Chosen me to be the love of his life and to bring followers in to his kingdom so that we all can be saved. No hate in our hearts only but love and saviors in the father and son of the holy name

We are not worthy for chosen by God, why because by birth we are all sinners, there is no goodness in us....for example, if we want to buy anything for us we will select, elect and chose good thing and buy..... there is no any good thing in us but god has chosen us, this is Gods Love towards us.

Jim Williams's comment on 2013-11-04 05:07:06:

What comfort to know it is not "God's will that any should perish, but all should come to repentance"; yet what a challenge it is to know He has given the responsibility to us to take the WORD and good new to them; --- now pray about it and God will give us His harvest, which brings joy!

I think this verse is talking about evangelism. Goin out 2 win souls for the kingdom and causing them to remain. By doing so,whatsoever we ask of the father shall be given us.

Susan Ignacio-John's comment on 2013-07-01 07:55:05:

I take the word of God as it reads, If God say He chooses us, that's what He means. There is no explanation on that. What we cannot understand, does not make the Word void, nor change the direct words of God.

John 15:16 is really saying, pray only to the father through his only begotton son and the father will give.no other can help like so called saints they are holy people but not saviours.

juanita carter's comment on 2012-04-30 19:36:19:

Does this mean we are predestined to be saved?

Pat's comment on 2011-06-07 13:07:16:

Is John 15:16 saying that Jesus has already chosen those who will be saved?
