I think it means exactly what it says. Jesus came as the pure image of God 's love. We need not be afraid anymore of being judged, condemned , or rejected. Jesus is The Christ, the son of the living God, who alone can make us whole.

It is such a wonderful blessing to know that our Maker and Creator loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son into the world to save us from eternal damnation. Jesus did not come to tell us how horrible we are, but to show us the way back to the Father, which is through Jesus 's blood that He shed. Know Jesus know salvation. No Jesus no salvation. We are condemners of our ownselves.once the forbidden fruit was eaten we became conscious and ashamed. Which caused us to condemn ourselves do to guilt.
