Jesus s answer was to establish the truth that with the new creation true worship would not originate from physical location as Jerusalem or on the mountain. It would be more of spiritual proceeding from the new creation through Holy Spirit to the Father. Emphasis was not on physical location but spiritual which could be carried out anywhere as long as the person involved is born again since God being a spirit is everywhere.
