The closeness of God to the working of Jesus is shown in his saying, "Whatever you ask my Father In my name "believing", He Will Do it. this is a direct promise of Jesus the Christ. he cannot lie, so be it.

I think Jesus distingvises between things (the creation, as spoken of in Rom. 8,19) and persons.
All things that the Father gives Him will come to Him, and no person, that seaks Him will He reject.
