In 1 Kings 10, when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions. Jesus used her as an example to shame the Jews who were full of unbelief regarding himself as God in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16 ).

Likewise in Luke 4:24-28, Jesus used the example of the widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17 and Naaman the Syrian in 2 Kings 5 to show that the prideful Jews who considered the Gentiles as dogs were hindered from the Kingdom by their own unbelief while the despised ones gained acceptance with God by their faith.

In Romans 11, Paul explains that though the Jews were wrong to reject Jesus Christ and demand his crucifixion, God turned their failure into salvation for the Gentiles so that he might have mercy upon all. And he is yet able to save Israel when the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

First I must ask in accordance with His word , Then I will receive I must believe that I have already received it Then I must seek then I will find I have to search for it Knock and it shall be opened to me I must keep knocking and it is opening unto me . Praise God. I have to be willing to stand for the rest of my life if that is what it takes and I am willing. God 's word will not return unto Him void Praise God !!!!

Sandy, dear heart, please be patient remember God works everything out to His praise and glory. Also He works according to His will good pleasure, knowing the end from the beginning, what we desire may not be in accord with His plan nor His time frame for things to happen in our lives. All that being said, when you feel all hope is lost and every man 's hand is against you, I find it most helpful to turn to the book of Romans, chapter 8, it never fails to refresh my spirit. Hope these words have been of some encouragement. Stay strong in the Lord and may God richly bless you.

Love, Luke Chapter 11, Verse 9... I first heard this from my Grandparents, and Aunt Katie (Grandfathers Sister), when I was a child... It filled me with delight, that Jesus would honor my requests, through prayer, hard work & solice... Happy that today, this still rings true... God Bless Us All!
