This is talking about the rapture. The end of days. One believer will be taken up while the unbeliever will not. Poof, just like that. We (believers) are out of here.

Luke 17:35-36. To my understanding it denots the household works in afternoon. In olden times grinding works carried out in the afternoon by women. As also two men in the field denots the day time, works in the field. Luke 17:34 says : in that night there shall be two men in one bed. This is picture of the world when our Lord appears in the heaven. Our Lord come for the whole world. Then as usual half of the world is under night and other half - in day time.Luke 21:27 and then shall they see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. The sealing is already over and sealed will be transformed instantaneously and fly towards our Lord. When our Lord comes, saved and unsaved are intimately living together and only saved are transformed. It is a warning to all belivers for checking their names in the book of life and uptodate it now. It is our personal choice only. "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15.Believe in Jesus and keep his commandmends.Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 1John4:15.

1. Thanks for that. Many have been saying once a christian and that's it. As you rightly said, end time event is not salvation. You receive salvation when you become born again and grace is imparted into you. But at the seat of judgement, you need mercy. The grace given to you at salvation is to overcome sin and do what you are assigned to do. You will give account of the use of the grace; what you used the grace for: Romans 2:5-7 "5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:"

At the judgement seat, you need mercy. And mercy is at the discretion of the Lord.

2. The issue of two men on the same bed is not in support of homosexuality. Rather, it is an assumption by those who conclude on the perversion. Being in the same bed together is not to mean they were sexually cordial. It is a family thing. And it does not mean they are both men; the word "men" could be used as unisex to mean a species. Thank you again

Mishael's comment on 2020-09-22 17:43:01:

The men were probably huddled around a campfire to keep warm. Anyone who camps out under the stars knows that. Let's not fix this scripture to an issue of homosexuality, ok?

Grinding: they were grinding grain into a flour to bake with. You can easily say 2 women are standing side by side. The believer in Jesus will be caught up in the clouds; the unbeliever will not.

We read the Bible every day so our minds can be renewed on the Holiness and Purity of Jesus: who is the Word of God, in the flesh.

Back in the day when you could not go to the grocery store to get your cereal people made their own flour by grinding the grains into flour. Two women grinding together is what that verse is referring to. The two men in bed, back in the day and most third world countries there is one room where people sleep. Very common for families to be sleeping in one large bedded area. Hence to men in bed together.

Adam's comment on 2020-09-22 12:18:21:

Looks like you're talking about Luke 17:34-35. This is Jesus talking about an event many call the rapture where people are taken away- possibly to paradise or to maybe be judged first. I personally do not know how this coincides with Jesus meeting His followers in the air 1 Thessalonians 4:17. I don't believe the end times events is a salvation issue so I don't have a particular opinion on it. As for the women grinding, I think these are women working in a mill. As for the men, I think they were sleeping in a bed. I don't believe this implies any kind of homosexuality as it's not uncommon for people to stay in people's houses and share a bed or whatever limited resources they had.

Vanessa Tolbert's comment on 2020-09-22 07:37:11:

what does the grinding means in the scripture, two women shall be grinding together, what does this mean, please explain this to me, two men in bed together, what does this mean?

Obbie Beal's comment on 2020-08-13 05:26:23:

1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Note: in 1-2 JESUS prepares both our heart and mind as it relates to living day to day; HE assures us wrong-offences shall come against us. Also JESUS assures us HE is keeping record of those who wrongly commit offences against us.

Note: we must always remember there are those of us whose name is written in THE LAMB BOOK Of LIFE thereby we are hated by the dragon who is always working day and night to plan and use others to commit offences against us. Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, ...

Patricia Robinson's comment on 2020-08-04 09:55:46:

It's quite disingenuous to partially quote 1 Tim 5: 2 "the elder women as.... the younger women as sisters". It's obvious here elder is referring to seniority in age in comparison to the younger women.

The bible also states that the "elder is a husband with one wife".

Women are and have been prophets, but I do not believe they are supposed to be pastors.

The sad irony is I think that the church actually agrees with me, otherwise it would pay women pastors the same as the men, and I believe it does not....

Greg's comment on 2020-08-04 04:40:47:

Patricia Robinson, WOMEN SHOULDN'T TEACH

If you do not want to teach the word of God and lead other people that know less than you because you believe that the Bible tells you that you shouldn't, that's up to you.

Can you show me where it says that women SHOULD NOT lead or guide others in the word of God?

What about Priscilla

Acts 18:26,

"And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Romans 16:3

"Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:"

Notice whose name came first this time!

Priscilla is teaching and leading the flock.

Pastor means to "rule" or "tend or "herd" a flock.

Disciple means to "goad" or "teach."

Elder means "honorable" or simply "older" and specifically refers to men AND WOMEN.

1 Timothy 5:2 speaks of the "elder women" of the people.

God has NEVER excluded half of His people from being able to teach others His Message!

You'll have to pick a book and verse. The best way to know what it means, is to read the Bible every day; take notes.

Many good Pastors teaching on FM Radio 24 hours a day. You'll have to dial around to find them. There's 1 channel on AM radio.

I don't know about where you live? See what you can find. With churches closed it gets a bit more dicey to hear Gods Word.

There won't be anymore of that once The Antichrist is revealed in real life.

Be born again and ask for the Holy Spirit to come alongside of you to Help, Comfort, Teach scripture, explain what you are reading; tell you when you are straying off course; to hold you when you cry and also show you what Ephesians 6 is all about.

A Testimony by Mishael's comment on 2020-08-02 13:14:41:

This is a piece of testimony that I promised. It is meant to show YOU how much Jesus loves YOU and desires you to be in His family. He accepts you now (as is) and has grace and mercy in His heart towards you. Yes! You.

Sometimes we get caught up on all the Thou Shalt nots and the verses that are meant to keep order in the Church; the Body of Christ: we lose sight of the Grace which is always standing right in front of us.

He always desires us to extend that Grace outward to others who do not know of that Grace just yet. The Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ within us (upon salvation), leads us in spiritual growth; taps us on the shoulder when we are veering off the path; leads us into the knowledge of the Holy.

Testimony: I was an astrologer before salvation. If people opposed me, I would imagine them dead; and bury them. I would have nightmares of fields of graves that refused to stay hidden. Fear hath torments.

After my salvation, people who had known me would say to my face, with a chuckle, that anyone as evil as I had been could NOT possibly be saved! My doubts and joy began to ebb away. In anguish I had to prove that I could make Jesus cut me loose and turn on me too. And then I had a dream.

Jesus was nailed to a Cross, which was lying on the ground. He was looking at Me. The self-hate in me rose up and I picked up a rock and began to hit the nails in His hands. Every time I struck Him, He would say "I Love You." I kept on believing He would give up on me. He kept saying, I LOVE YOU. Finally I threw the rock away and collapsed on his chest, and I let love and forgiveness flood my soul. All the self-hate and condemnation was washed away in tears. I woke up. I knew without a doubt that His power to Forgive was stronger than my power to Hate.

I never again hated or received hate. All the dreams were ended. Every day of my new life was lived in His acceptance of me.

You can live your life that way too. Search your hearts and minds.

1 Corinthians 14:34-36 KJV

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. [35] And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. [36] What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

jett's comment on 2020-08-01 21:20:39:

Sure why not?

Mishael's comment on 2020-07-31 20:39:54:

I will admit that men do better at Pastoring as a whole. Women are good intercessors and do very well teaching on prayer, equipping all people who feel that call.

We have to know that our prayers are shaking Heaven and sending demons to the dry, hot places.

We need to pray to the Lord of the Harvest; to send laborers out into the Harvest.
