Other people called Jesus by the titles that people like to claim Jesus referred to himself as. Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world because if it was then would his followers fight. I am inclined to believe him. When they came to take him by force to be their king he hid from them. They misunderstood his purpose and did not understand his speech as he said.
