Likewise. I especially love the prophets, but no one on this platform discusses the Bibles most prolific seers of the Old Testament. They give me goose bumps, their individual takes on the same events. I like the New Testament too, cause I'm a whole man, not just a half. Best of luck to you in these end times.

The last 2 trumpets are indirectly attributed to Jesus; they couple punishment with extreme violence. Of course the people on earth will be playing the attacks out to its desired outcome. Jesus in the flesh was void of sin, but trumpeted Jesus takes care of business.
1) There is the 6th trumpet, day of the Lord (named for Jesus), is punishment on a vile world from the Almighty. A day responsible for 1/3rd of humanities demise. Revelation 15: Jesus says "Behold, I come as a thief".......to lay the land desolate.
Those that dwell in heaven despise Mystery Babylon and Babylon proper to death. Joel gives a spectacular account of the missile strike on Babylon (America) Joel 2: 1-11, while on the other side of the world, in the self-same hour, Israel is invaded by the beast army and taken, Luke 21:20-24. Hell from beneath will rise up to greet Babylon at its departure, Isaiah 14:9 The current system will be torn down, and will be replaced with hell on earth.
2) Then there is the 7th trumpet slaughter featuring a transfigured Jesus, with a new name only He knows, Revelation 19:12, who defeats anti-christ's fractured beast army. It is Jesus returning with His army of resurrected saints to take possession of the earth. Revelation 14:20 The blood will be up to the horses bridle (in the valley).
In both trumpets, it is Jesus doling out judgment on an evil world, and in His Godly capacity. America and Israel have been poisoned by satan, enough so for God to commence and fulfill all the words of his servants, the prophets.

Brothers Jesse and Bob, I believe you are wrong concerning this matter. Here's why.
1. Jesus supersedes anything from the Old Testament.
2. Jesus in Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. What else does Chapter 22 say concerning purchasing a sword? Luke 22:8 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. Who goes to war with 2 swords? No, the purpose of buying the swords was to fulfill Mark 14:47 = And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. And Luke 22:49-51 = When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him. They needed the two swords to fulfill the other verses.
3. I'd also like to point out Matthew 26:52 = Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
The time is quickly coming where this is going to be a serious issue for Christians. You will be asked to decide between your faith and the death of your family. You must choose your faith. Jesus even said so - Matthew 10:37 =
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. This is where the road narrows and many Christians will fail because they are unprepared.
Revelation 13:10 ... he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword ...
Perhaps someone can tell me when Jesus advocated violence. Except for the money changers in the temple, you can't. You can't because it never happened. You see, Jesus was a pacifist.

God is not slack concerning, his promises. God meant what he say. God made Male and female in the beginning. If a man leave his father house, he should cleave to his wife for life. God is not the author of confusion. God made us male and female. GOD made the man first, then he took a rib out of man and made woman. I'm a single woman. I will marry a man, or I will not marry

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what by nature people have been conditioned to believe in. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. Actually it means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18).
For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' what it means to repent and how people have been deceived (Rev. 12:9), we invite you to review the article 'Repent' on a world deceived.ca

Luke 11:32

Matthew 4:6.
Lahniya McKithen is looking for a better understanding of Matthew 4:6.
The word 'lest' means 'in order that you not'. An example of lest is when you bring an umbrella in order to avoid getting wet.
It means: with the intention of preventing something undesirable to avoid the risk of something.
In Matthew 4:6 it meant that angels would protect Christ that He would not hurt his feet against a stone.

Google the Ten Commandments: obey those.
Jesse's comment on 2020-06-22 08:39:54:
Anthony,
This would be committing murder with the intent to do so. The word kill in thou shalt not kill is the word murder. There is a difference. If someone breaks into your home in the middle of the night, you have the right to defend yourself and your family. God forbid that ever happen, but in that case, your motive would not be to commit murder but to defend your family. It is the same for those who fight in a war. A person should never enlist in the military if their motive is to go out and kill people. That is what I told my son right before he went into the Marine Corp. I myself am also a 22-year military veteran. If that is their motive, then in their heart that would be considered murder. We see many places in the Old Testament where God sent armies of one nation to go in and wipe out another. God would not say thou shalt not kill and then turn around and command people to kill. You see, it's the motive of the heart. We are not to commit murder out from an evil heart and intent to do so. I hope this makes some sense.
bob Hilt's comment on 2020-06-22 08:28:04:
Anthony, Good question. We are not to murder, we are allowed to protect our family. I mean really when someone breaks into the house to rape your daughter and murder the family are going to say GOD BLESS YOU?
Exodus 22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
If a thief (you do not know why he is there, maybe to kill) is struck and killed you are guiltless.
Jesus in Luke 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Why did Jesus tell his disciples to buy a sword? Not to murder, rather to protect themselves and family.
1 Timothy 5:8 But if any PROVIDE provide NOT not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. (provide what? Food, shelter, clothing and PROTECTION)
John L QUESTION ON 10 COMMANDMENTS's comment on 2020-06-22 08:04:22:
There are two sets of Ten Commandments. Exodus 20:1-17 and Exodus 34:10-28.
TWICE Moses went upon the mountain and did not eat or drink for 40 days!
The 10 Commandments of Exodus 34:10-28 are specifically referred to as "the ten commandments" (Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 4:13, 10:4)
There are differences in the two sets of Commandments. Which set are we to follow? Are we to combine them?
ANTHONY WILSON's comment on 2020-06-22 07:18:00:
Question came up yesterday in sunday school and was asked about the bible saying thou shalt not kill. How does that go with a person defending their family and have to kill someone to protect them and also going to defend our country in war?
