I have yet to see a good in-depth commentary on the book of Obadiah, not even a You Tube video. What I have seen explains it as a book of history rather than futuristic prophecy.

Since Chapter 1 predicts these events to take place just prior to the "Day of The Lord" (Tribulation), it is obvious to me that it's futuristic. I am also of the belief that it's akin and detailed version to Psalm 83.
