To me, this verse is about David asking the Lord to teach him how to war against his enemies and fight them through the power of prayer.

Unless the builds the house or our life it will all be in vain unless he constructs our ways it will be all in vain or useless and fruitless.

By this shall all men know that you are my disciples when you have love one to another : We may not be in agreement in everything : but we can be in unity knowing that we serve our risen Lord Jesus Christ .

Except and unless we christians allow Jehovah Adonai to be the masterbuilder of of our lives, whatever design, outlook or make we set out to accomplish will amount to nothing fit for eternity. Moreover, only when he keeps constant guard over our lives and all that pertain to us, can we realize true peace, security and protection.

MockingBird's comment on 2015-01-08 05:31:03:

The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him. The Lord is Good : the Lord is Good in all that He does and is .

Yes It is so Good when we as Church members are in unity with each other We all may not be in agreement with a few things but we can agree to disagree and still be in unity with each other. By this shall all men know that we are His disciples when we have Love to one another.

Toni's comment on 2014-05-24 04:41:49:

The people of God should not be contentious, especially towards one another. We should love one another and not fight, argue or backbite. These are things that people in the world do. Nothing is worse than being around hellish trouble making individuals. But it 's a good and pleasant thing to be around the true people of God because there is peace.

Toni's comment on 2014-01-01 03:35:17:

It is good for God's people to be around other godly people. While God does not want His people to walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful (Psalms 1:1), David assures us that it benefits us to dwell and be around others who love the Lord. These are children of God, and therefore, our brothers and sisters in Christ. He said it's good and pleasant. When we are around those who know Christ, there won't be strife and discord, but joy and peace.
