This verse is part of my weeks lesson on taming the tongue. Going through the different definition of evil and guile, searching out my heart and applying the blood of Jesus for cleansing.

This verse is teaching that we should desist from talking things that are evil, thus we must hold our mouth and also learn to talk things that are good. Talking bad about someone is a sin and this is linked to devil thinking.
