I think God is telling us as christians that we will be held accountable for any sin that we have not repented for and that we cannot hide from Him because He is all knowing, and we will stand in judgement before Him which is then he will make our sin known to us personally.

there is a great old sermon called pay day some day the day is coming where you will not be able to wipe the word of God out of your sight and mind for Christians the judgement seat of Christ for the lost the great white throne judgement there was a time when God winked at the ignorance of men people Acts 17 30 but God is saying now i gave the best heaven had to offer one thief said remember me he repented and put his trust faith in Jesus the other said no to the loving savior yes right before Jesus died he made it very clear salvation is all about me john 3 16 john 1 11 12 Titus 3 5 john 14 6 Ephesians 2 8 9 How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation Every idle word and thought will be made known the problem started in the garden of Eden Romans 5 12 Repentance opens up the forgiveness of Christ Romans 10 13 God Bless
