The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, and a contrite heart O God thou will not despise. David had accepted the fact that God does not delight in our sacrifices, and burnt offerings. Rather God wants us to be broken over our sin, and have a contrite heart. David had fasted and prayed over the child that was born from the adulterous affair, and God despite that took the child. David then said I must go to him, and we know the child was in heaven with the Father. So children that die go to heaven. That includes all those aborted fetuses, because to God birth begins at inception. Yes God will forgive all those mothers who committed this sin, and with a broken and contrite heart, God will restore the joy of their salvation. As David prayed create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a steadfast spirit in me. As far as the east is from the west, has God cast our sins from us. He buries them in the Ocean, and does not remember them any more. Let the Lord do a new work in your life, and know that if anyone be in Christ, he/she is a new creature. All things are passed away, and all thing are become new. I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just, He will forgive our sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We are then justified with God, and the Church. Those who walk in the Light as God is Light, will have fellowship with the Father, and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.
