This verse always cause me to: - Deeply appreciate God for loving me so much even when I had no idea of Him and of such love. - Wonder at such great unquantifiable sacrifice God made to redeem me. God did not wait for me to be born before doing it. He loved me before I was formed in my mother 's womb. -fear and reverence Him. - always remember that I am unworthy of God 's love for this, I should show unconditional love to others

Just as Jesus commended his Spirit to God on Calvary, God commended His Love to us. He gave it completely, without holding back anything. A perfect, beautiful, lavish giving of the best He had to give....

Unconditional love the true charater of our Christ Jesus so those who bear his name ought to arm ourselves with the same character towards those we think and see as sinners to love them so we can win them for Christ because christ came us then to them through us

I always try to make that verse be as "personal" to me as I can. While "I" was yet a sinner, Christ died for me. By doing so (making it personal), It makes me try harder to pattern my life as someone that is worthy of such "unconditional love". Sometimes when I'm feeling "blue", all I have to do is remember that God loves ME! ME! What an awesome feeling--

God has shown his love to all humanity ever since the creation of the world his love has been evident. From His invisible qualities becoming our gifts to see like the trees and the stars and all else He has created surely God has shown His love for thee. At the right time God sent His only Son into the world and took upon the sins of all humanity so that we could live eternally with Our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. While we were powerless to redeem our sinful selves at birth Christ died for us and this is how He showed his great love for all, by becoming an atoning sacrifice for you and me.

It means to me that God loves us no matter what . He sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

I like Darby's rendering "commends His love to us." So, if we receive His love it is ours and all we do is act accodingly. Praise God! Hallelujah!!

Ithink the verseis trying to tell us no matter how people treat you or behavior is not nice and act around you you should love them anyway because we act like that to Jesus and he still love us he died to save our sins

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

Have you ever been in the presence of someone whose behavior made you want to pull back from them? Naturally, you did not desire to be around them. You did not want to extend yourself out to that one. In other words, you did not want to love that person.

You also know this person cannot love you. They may relate to you, but, as they are they cannot love.

You feel this is a one-sided relationship. You love, they do not. It does not sound like a relationship you want to invest in. It does not sound like a person you want "to love." But, that is Christ's love. That is God's love.

When we were very unlovely, God loved us. When we could not love God, He loved us. When we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

That is love. That is the love wherewith we are to love one another.
