Vincent, there is no indication that Job lacked food during his lifetime (though of course, he lost so much else). It could be that as a result of his great losses & personal affliction by Satan (boils), that his appetite may not have been normal. Also, we don't hear anymore of his wife after she gives Job some wrong advice (2:9) & a slight reference to her (31:9,10) which is only an illustration Job makes: "if he should give into passion to another woman, then may his wife be given to another man": implying that he would never do such a thing. So, we know little more than this about her, though we could assume that his physical torture was accompanied with 'fireworks' around the house.

We are in this world but not from this world. Heaven is our home. So even though we are always around unbelievers and the scripture tells us to win them for Christ, we must be careful as believers when it comes to relationships in every area of our lives. We should know whom to share our problems with. In Acts 4:23, after Peter and John had been threatened not to do anything in the Name of Jesus, where did they go? What this means is don 't let people fool you to act like them or be swayed by what they say. Because they are carnal minded and it could rub off on you if you. Decide to stay around those type of people.
